These terms apply to paid subscriptions to eMathSmart offered by Popular Book Company (Canada) Ltd.

Subscription Plans

eMathSmart is available through monthly and annual subscription plans.

Monthly Plan: $12.95 CAD per month, plus applicable taxes.

Annual Plan: $74.95 CAD per year, plus applicable taxes.

The price and applicable taxes will be displayed before you complete your subscription.

Free Trial

New eligible subscribers may receive a 7-day free trial.

You will be required to provide a valid payment method when beginning your trial.

Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your selected subscription will automatically begin at the end of the trial and your payment method will be charged the applicable subscription price plus taxes.

The date on which your trial ends and your first payment is scheduled will be displayed during signup.

Automatic Renewal

eMathSmart subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled.

For monthly subscriptions, your payment method will automatically be charged the applicable monthly subscription fee plus taxes on each monthly renewal date.

For annual subscriptions, your payment method will automatically be charged the applicable annual subscription fee plus taxes on each annual renewal date.

By starting a subscription, you authorize Popular Book Company (Canada) Ltd. and its payment service provider to charge the payment method associated with your account for recurring subscription fees and applicable taxes until you cancel.

Renewal Reminders

For monthly subscriptions, we may send a renewal reminder approximately 7 days before the next renewal.

For annual subscriptions, we may send a renewal reminder approximately 30 days before the next renewal.

Cancellation

You may cancel your eMathSmart subscription through your account.

Cancelling your subscription prevents future automatic renewals. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, cancellation does not immediately terminate access to a subscription period that has already been paid for.

Your eMathSmart access will continue until the end of your current paid subscription period.

If you cancel during your free trial before the trial expires, you will not be charged the subscription fee.

Refunds

Except where required by applicable law, subscription payments are non-refundable once a paid subscription period has begun.

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact us so that we can review the charge.

Nothing in these terms limits any cancellation, refund or other rights available to you under applicable consumer-protection law.

Price Changes

We may change eMathSmart subscription pricing from time to time.

Any price change affecting an existing subscription will take effect no earlier than the subscriber’s next applicable renewal after reasonable advance notice has been provided, where required.

If you do not agree with the new price, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.

Failed Payments

If a subscription payment cannot be processed, we may attempt to process the payment again and may temporarily suspend access to paid features until payment is successfully completed.

Additional AI Coins

Subscriptions include a recurring allocation of AI Coins as described on the eMathSmart pricing page.

Additional AI Coins may also be available for separate purchase.

Purchasing additional AI Coins does not change your subscription renewal date or subscription fee.

AI Coins are digital service credits for use within eMathSmart, have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash.
